Sound-absorbing lamellas: Project in Leipzig

In a hotel project in Leipzig, Germany, Renson's L.150ACL louvre was successfully used to reduce the noise pollution caused by the operation of an air conditioning system to an acceptable level. The L.150ACL lamella proved to be an effective and aesthetic solution to this problem. The design and implementation of the sound insulation in this project was carried out by rotec GmbH Berlin, a Renson premium partner. rotec GmbH has an impressive experience of 30 years in the field of soundproofing systems and enclosures for air conditioning systems on roofs.

Product description
Renson slat L.150ACL is made of extruded aluminum profile and is available in slat spacing 150 mm or 170 mm. The slats have a maximum length of 6000 mm and are equipped with a perforated bottom plate. To ensure sound insulation, the slats are filled with inorganic mineral wool. The product has been specially developed for use in lamella wall systems, where the sound-insulating properties are of primary importance.

Material and surface treatment
L.150ACL slat is made of extruded aluminum profile EN AW - 6063 T66 and perforated aluminum sheet. Surface treatment includes EV-1 anodizing (20 micron) or polyester powder coating (60 - 80 micron) in various RAL colors.

Insect screen
The insect screen is attached to the back of the substructure.

Doors
The L.150ACL slat is available with single and double doors equipped with the RENSON® standard building hardware and mounted on flat hinges.

The soundproofing properties of the L.150ACL lamella are as follows:
